Project included to hall provide all equipment, escorts, labor to refinish grade site to ensure positive drainage.
Scarify to a depth of 6 inches or undisturbed, and recompact to 95% theoretical maximum density.
Install 2 in minus aggregate (approximately 2,200 CM to be provided by Government), to a compacted depth of four (4) inches in the approximately 28,610 SM area indicated on the drawings. ˜ Aggregate shall meet the gradations provided on the contract, be a crushed and washed product and of a material to support heavy vehicular traffic.

Aggregate shall meet the gradations provided on the contract, be a crushed and washed product and of a material to support heavy vehicular traffic.

Refinish grade sites to ensure positive drainage, Scarify to a minimum depth of 6 inches or undisturbed (whichever is greater, and re-compact while applying water to 95% theoretical maximum density o Install two (2) inch minus crushed aggregate (approximately 4,000 CM provided by Government), to a compacted depth of four (4) inches in the approximately 55,612 SM areas indicated on the drawing. To provide/install a 1,079 linear meter, 7 foot high chain link fence topped with outriggers, 6 strand barbed wire and concertina installed per attached drawings and specifications o All fence components shall be galvanized steel. Fence fabric to be 9 gage steel o Contractor shall provide/install (4) ea 20’ vehicular gates (location and installation shall be approved by COR) o Fence posts to be 2 inch in diameter and anchored in concrete in accordance with attached plans and specifications.

Site Preparation and Fencing, Class I Yard Site, FOB Deleram
Project with DELARAM II REGIONAL CONTRACTING CENTER
Project consists of:
1. Site Preparation, grading, scarifying and compaction.
2. Gravel spread and compaction to 95% density.
3. Installation of 2,579 LF (786 LM) of 7-FT, 9 gauge chain link fence around Class I yard compound. Fence will be topped with outriggers, 6 strands of barbed wire and concertina wire. All fence components will be galvanized steel, fence fabric will be 9 gauge steel. Fence posts will have 2 inch diameter with 3000 psi concrete in accordance with Government provided plan.
Installation of three (3) 20-FT wide by 7-FT high, 9 gauge chain link vehicle gates on Class I yard’s fence. All gate components shall be galvanized steel with 9 gauge gate fabric. Gate posts will have 2 inch diameter with concrete foundation based on Unity’s submitted and approved fence details. Gate location shall be directed by COR.

Site Preparation and Fencing, EOD Compound, FOB Deleram
Project with DELARAM II REGIONAL CONTRACTING CENTER
Project consists of:
Site Preparation: Using Unity’s own equipment, Unity will grade 38,145 square meter site based on base plans, add water (spraying direct from the water tanker) using the grader mix and compactable material. The graded surface will be compacted using sheep’s foot roller and a steel drum roller. Unity also take into consideration that the area is prevalent with conglomerate sandstone, hence Bulldoze D9 will be used. After grading, Unity will scarify 6 inches and re-compact using sheep’s foot roller and a steel drum roller to obtain 95% maximum theoretical density. Fill of more than 6 inches shall be compacted at every 6 inches lift.
Gravel Placement: After compaction is done, Unity will notify COR for inspection and acceptance. Once accepted, Unity will place (2) two inch minus gravel at (4) four inches deep compacted to no less than (3) three inches. Gravel samples will be submitted to COR for approval prior to procurement.
Fencing Installation: Installation of 553 LF (786 LM) of 7-FT, 9 gauge chain link fence around EOD OPS Compound. Fence will be topped with outriggers, 6 strands of barbed wire and concertina wire. All fence components will be galvanized steel, fence fabric will be 9 gauge steel. Fence posts will have 2 inch diameter with 3000 psi concrete in accordance with Government provided plan.
Installation of two (2) 20-FT wide by 7-FT high, 9 gauge chain link vehicle gates on EOD OPS fence. All gate components shall be galvanized steel with 9 gauge gate fabric. – INF BN MOTOR POOL Site Preparation, Gravel Spread and Chain Link Fence, Camp Deleram II, Afghanistan
This project with Deleram II Contracting Office includes leveling and compacting 98,666 SM, provide/install 3” thick compacted, two-inch minus gravel; provide and install 1,870 LM, seven foot (2.1M) chain link fence topped with outriggers, barbed wire and concertina wire, along with six each 20 LF (6M) vehicle gates.
Deliver 2" Minus with gravel particles shall be crushed and screened to produce a dense, durable, well graded material. All particles shall have two or more fractured faces. No particle shall be larger than 2 inches or shall be retained on the 50-mm (2-in.) sieve. No more than 3.0% of material by weight shall pass the 75-µm (No. 200) sieve. No more than 30% of material by weight shall pass the 4.75-mm (No. 4) sieve. All material must be derived from rock or sand and be non-plastic. No foreign or organic material may be present. Contractor shall provide a sample of material before delivery. Any material not meeting the above requirements will not be accepted and if placed will be removed at the expense of the contractor.
